Sephora started shipping to the UK a while ago, but whilst browsing I got a little frustrated that many brands were actually not able to be shipped over here. I decided to use Borderlinx (which I've used in the past) so I could ship my Sephora order to an address in the US, and Borderlinx then ship it to the UK. This option was more expensive than using Sephora's delivery service (it came to around £70 shipping and tax for $200 worth of Sephora goodies, Sephora would have charged around £35) but it did mean I could buy brands Sephora won't ship to us and I also made two separate $100 orders to maximise the free samples which bumped up delivery costs too.
I made this order about a week before we had an offer accepted on a house so I'm currently feeling a bit guilty about spending so much! Since we've bought a house we probably won't be going to New York in December as we'd planned so this is a good substitute for a trolley-dash in Sephora (until next year anyway!). Read on to see what I bought:
Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant ($8) - I'm curious to see if this is as effective as traditional deodorant.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment - Passion ($22.50) - I already have the 'Tulip' shade and love it, this is a gorgeous rich red.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ($18) - I just had to add this to my basket after Estée's rave review!
Anastasia Brow Wiz - Medium Brown ($21) - Continuing my love of brow products.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day ($26) - If it's good enough for Jennifer...
Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Brightening Cleansing Cloths ($15) - I hope these are worth the hype!
Sephora Cream Lip Stain - Strawberry Kissed ($13) - I had to try this after seeing how fab it looks on Amelia.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler Replacement Pads ($6) - These work in my Shu Uemura curler, which is great since Shu don't sell replacement pads!
Sephora Single Ribbon Hair Ties ($1 each) - These hair-friendly ties are gentle and cause less breakages, the individuals are sold out but you can buy a pack of 8 for $9.
Sephora Summer Crushes ($45) - Although it seems that Summer is already over in the UK, there are plenty of interesting products I'll enjoy trying out in this set. See below to see the full contents:
Ole Henriksen Wonders 7 Day Sample Set - free with $25 purchase use code WONDERS
Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel sample - free with $25 purchase use code PEEL
Bliss Triple Oxygen +C Energising Cream samples - This moisturiser helps to revive dull skin.
DERMAdoctor KP Duty Lotion samples - A moisturiser containing glycolic acid suitable for dry skin
Hourglass Mineral Veil 100 point perk (x2) - I couldn't justify a purchase of the full sized bottle without trying a sample first, and so far, so good!
Jack Black Double Duty Face Moisturizer sample - I think this brand is more directed at men, I'll be interested to try out the texture and scent of the product.
GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment sample - Another much-hyped product I'll be interested to try!
Thanks for reading! Have you bought anything from Sephora recently?
